      SELECTED AMONG 720 INITIATIVES TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 2019 PARIS PEACE FORUM

    THE SCHOOL RECONSTRUCTION MAP WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE PARIS PEACE FORUM

    The School Reconstruction Map, developed in partnership with IMCO and 12 other institutions within the framework of the Rebuilding Mexico Initiative promoted by Fundación Kaluz and Orbia, was selected among 720 initiatives, to participate in the Paris Peace Forum 2019.

    The Paris Peace Forum is a platform to promote innovative solutions to global challenges and promote actions for global governance.

    It should be noted that the "Reconstruction Map" is one of four Mexican initiatives to participate in the forum of worldwide scope. The projects and institutions that will accompany us as an example of resilience and the strength of the Mexican people are: “Serapaz México”, the “Fideicomiso Fuerza México” and the “Comisión Municipal de Seguridad de Morelia”.

    In the case of the School Reconstruction Map project, the platform has generated the exchange of the best practices, has avoided duplicities and has increased the efficiency of private participation in the reconstruction after the damages caused by the earthquakes of September 2017 in many Mexican communities.
